After a successful start to the Masterclass International Development for Diaspora in April, it was now time for the next part: Communication
I was once again pleasantly surprised by the enthusiastic group of diaspora who would like to further professionalize their organization. We talked about the importance of a Communication Plan, but that it does not have to be an entire bookwork. You can also make this short and consistent as long as you have a clear picture of your target group(s), internal and external communication and resources that you want to use to reach your target group.
It is also important to think about how you want to communicate about the projects and results. The next lesson about Communication will be in 2 weeks. Then we will talk about the network you have around you. In the Netherlands but also Locally. Who do you gather around you? How do you expand your network? And how can you create sustainable partnerships?
In the meantime, I also provide individual coaching to diaspora organizations that need this.
I really enjoy the Masterclass and the motivated diaspora organizations and am grateful for the collaboration with Wilde Ganzen, Rachida Boukhrissen, Sylvia Ortega Azurduy en Esly van Dam.
